Resistance
A crystal's resistance is the impedance of the crystal, measured in ohms at series resonance. It is sometimes called the Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), is written as Rs and is typically specified as a maximum value - not to exceed. Rs is a function of and controlled by blank diameter, thickness, cross-section shape, metalization and mounting structure.
