Crystal Blanks
Anderson Electronics manufactures quartz crystal blanks from 1.000
MHz to 250 MHz including flat, contoured, beveled and ring supported
resonators. Experienced crystal engineers develop blank designs that
are optimized to meet customers' specifications while assuring
manufacturability and maintaining the lowest cost and highest
quality. The entire manufacturing operation from cutting the bar
through lapping or chemical milling and testing is carefully
controlled by Anderson technicians. Crystal blanks are available in
a wide range of frequencies, modes, geometries, finishes, electrode
configurations and metalization.

Inverted Mesa

Doubly-Rotated AT
Anderson Electronics, Inc. manufactures hi-precision/hi-reliability
doubly rotated-quartz crystal units for application in precision
oven controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO). Doubly-rotated crystals
include SC, IT and FC cuts offering the performance benefits of very
low aging (0.5x10-9/day), low vibrational and g-sensitivity and high
stability. Doubly-rotated crystals are manufactured in a variety of
coldweld packages typically used for the stringent requirements of
ovenized oscillator applications. Packages include HC-35, HC-37,
HC-40, HC-43, and HC-45.

Anderson Electronics microprocessor crystals are available in
standard resistance welded thru-hole HC-49/U, and HC-49/SM, HC-49/KSM
surface mount devices. Standard tolerances are +/- 30 PPM @ 25 C and
+/- 30 PPM -20/+70 C. Microprocessor crystals are available in bulk
and in tape and reel. Standard clock driver frequencies and custom
frequencies are available.

Surface Mount MPX
Anderson electronics provides HC-49/U and HC-49/S (5 mm max. ht.)
surface mount devices in standard clock driver frequencies and in
custom frequencies per customer requirements. The AE49KSM is offered
as a footprint compatible replacement for the Epson SG-615 plastic
package. A variety of tolerances and temperature stabilities are
available. In addition to the common metal holder type SMT crystals,
Anderson also supplies 5 x 7 and 5 x 3.2 millimeter surface mount
devices models AE131, AE170 and AE232. Tape and Reel packaging is
standard for surface mount crystals in quantities =/> 500 pcs.

Thru Hole MPX
Anderson Electronics provides HC-49/U and HC-49/S (5 mm max. ht.)
leaded devices in standard clock driver frequencies and in custom
frequencies per customer requirements. A variety of tolerances and
temperature stabilities are also available. Leaded devices are
typically packaged in bulk, however Tape and Reel packaging is
available upon request.

Precision AT Cut
Anderson Electronics, Inc. manufactures inverted-mesa ring supported
quartz crystal resonators. Inverted mesas, also called high
frequency fundamental mode crystals, are manufactured by a process
where the removal of material required to achieve the design
frequency is accomplished by chemical milling. Chemical milling
permits design frequencies exceeding those achieved through more
tradition mechanical abrasion techniques. Fundamental modes are
available from 30 MHz to 250 MHz third and fifth overtones are
available from approximately 90 MHz to 250 MHz. Ring supported
resonators are available as blanks and as sealed units in a variety
of precision holders. Ring supported resonators offer unique
performance advantages for specific applications. Applications
include high frequency clock, wide deviation VCXOS and wide bandpass
discrete crystal filters.

model AE100, 0.320" square ceramic package and formed lead
(gull-wing) HC-43/HC-49 and HC-45 offering aging rates =/< 3 PPM per
year at 40 degrees C. Fundamental modes are available from 30 MHz to
250 MHz third and fifth overtones are available from approximately
90 MHz to 250 MHz. Tape and Reel packaging is available at customer
request.

Anderson Electronics has been a supplier of a variety of oscillator
types including clocks, TCXOS, VCXO and TCVCXOS for several decades.
Products available range from mature 4 pin dip half-size and
full-size metal packages to state-of-the-art surface mount
configurations in 3.2 x 5, 5 x 7, and 9 x 14 millimeter ceramic and
plastic packages. A wide range of stabilities and operating
temperature ranges, including commercial, industrial and military
are offered. Most are available in Tape and Reel packaging for
automated insertion, placement and wave soldering.

Clock Oscillators
Anderson Electronics offers a variety of HCMOS/TTL compatible clock
oscillators ranging from full size and half size through-hole metal
dips models AE331, AE431 and AE631 to 5 mm x 7 mm and 3.2 mm x 5 mm
surface mount units models AE803, AE806 and AE835. These devices are
available in 3.3 v and 5.0 v models and have a tri-state function
for automated testing. Clock oscillators are available in a
frequency range from 1.000 KHz. to 150 MHz. in a variety of
stabilities and operating temperature ranges including commercial,
industrial and military operating temperature ranges. Anderson
Electronics also offers 4 pin dip ECL and PECL clock oscillators
models AE427 and AE700 from 10 MHz. to 200 MHz.

Surface Mount Clock Oscillators
Anderson Electronics offers several types of HCMOS/TTL surface mount
clock oscillators designed for 3.3 v and 5.0 v operation. Surface
mount clock oscillators are available in a variety of stabilities
and operating temperature ranges. All Anderson Electronics SMT clock
oscillators contain an enable/disable function. SMT clock
oscillators are ideal for machine placement and wave soldering. Tape

Thru Hole Clock Oscillators
Anderson Electronics offers several types of HCMOS/TTL, ECL and PECL
thru-hole clock oscillators designed for 3.3 v and 5.0 v operation.
Thru-hole clock oscillators are available in a variety of
stabilities and operating temperature ranges. All Anderson
Electronics thru-hole clock oscillators contain an enable/disable
function and are designed for hand or wave soldering. Anti-static
tubes are the standard packaging method for thru-hole clock
oscillators. Each tube holds a maximum of 25 individual oscillators.

Anderson Electronics offers several types of HCMOS/TTL compatible
voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) ranging from full size
thru-hole metal dips, models 120 and 124 to 5 mm x 7 mm surface
mount units models AE730, AE750, and 9 mm x 14 mm model AE500. These
devices are available in 3.3 v and 5.0 v models in a frequency range
from 10 MHz, to 150 MHz. A variety of operating temperature ranges
are offered inclusive of commercial, industrial and military

Anderson Electronics supplies HCMOS/TTL compatible temperature
controlled crystal oscillators (TCXO) in thru-hole and surface mount
configurations. Stabilities range from +/- 1.5 PPM through +/- 5.0
PPM. Operating temperature ranges are available from 0/+50 C to
-40/+85 C. Options include mechanical and manual frequency adjust.
